Another tragic example of the dangers posed by lithium-ion batteries on board aircraft. This recent incident in South Korea, where a portable battery in an overhead bin is suspected to have caused a fire, highlights the ongoing risk to passengers and crew.Thankfully, everyone escaped safely, but the outcome could have been far worse.
